Canton Parks & Recreation … The goal of Canton Summer Camp is to provide a fun and safe place where kids will spend all summer outside doing crafts, playing games, and other FUN things! Each group will be separated by the grade they are going into in the fall. Each week will have different themes with coordinating activities. Canton Summer Camp will be focused on outdoor fun and community engagement! Parents must attend one of the scheduled Parents Meetings at Canton Town Hall to meet with organizers and register for camps.

Mills River Parks & Recreation …Our Summer camps are designed for students to have fun while still focusing on skill refinement. We break tennis down into the fundamental skills to help the player through fun drills and games. Players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves throughout the program. In addition to learning a love for tennis, athletes will learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis such an exciting game to play. From games and crafts to exploring the great outdoors, Basecamp 2025 is the place to be! Parents must attend a Summer Base Camp Informational Meeting in order to receive information regarding summer camp options and Counselor in Training opportunities. Meetings are scheduled for Feb 17th-21st at 6:00pm. Summer camp payment is due March 15th, 2025 8:00–11:00 AM, and this is the ONLY time payments will be taken, and the ONLY way to guarantee a spot—no early payments allowed to keep things fair! The Asheville Mountain Kitchen … Hands On Cooking and Baking Summer Camps with Ofri Gilan. This is a hands-on camp exploring comfort foods, using seasonal ingredients and fresh vegetables from the garden. The final menu will be determined closer to the camp and will accommodate the participants’ dietary preferences, as well as garden bounty.   • The Y’s Adventure Camp (ages 9-15 years) is a place for young people to build a relationship with the outdoors. Campers come home tired and happy each day after new experiences around western North Carolina. 
  • In a time when teenagers are becoming more glued to technology, our Campers in Leadership Training (CILT) program (ages 12-15 years) brings participants into nature, teaches them valuable lessons about the outside world, and molds them into capable young adults. 
  • Few camps offer the variety of activities that you can find at Discovery Camp (ages 5-12 years). Every year, new weekly themes are selected and activities and field trips are built around the theme of the week. 
  • Buncombe County Explorer Camp (ages 4-12 years) taps into the landscape of western North Carolina to give our campers an engaging experience. It’s a safe environment to explore outdoors and discover what campers can achieve.

YTL Training Program … Their summer camp program collaborates with several STEM local programs to provide diverse programming. Participants will be immersed in mindfulness to create and promote self-awareness.
