Youth Winter Break - Crew Positions and Careers (13-18yrs) @ Asheville School of Film  | Asheville | North Carolina | United States

Geared towards teenagers 13-18 years old who want to explore careers available in filmmaking, this 2 day course explores behind the scenes of filmmaking, from pre-production to post-production. Class will take place during the winter break, Thursday and Friday, January 2nd and 3rd, 2020 from 8 am- 12 Noon.

Learn about the numerous and sometimes overlooked crew positions and career opportunities in filmmaking. How can you make a living in film? What jobs are involved in filmmaking? Where do you start? What kind of equipment or training is involved?

Crew Positions and Careers will help your teenager explore job avenues related to what they love- movies!

Cost for the course is $150, and registration and a $50 non-refundable deposit will be needed to secure the registration.

Students that also sign up for the afternoon Youth class-Green Screen Fun(damentals)- will receive a bundle price of $250 for the 2 classes. Deposit for the 2 classes combined will be $50. This course is a Day Camp, and does not include housing. We’d be happy to provide a list of local hotels and hostels.
