Youth Summer Filmmaking Experience (13-18yrs)

The Youth Summer Filmmaking Experience  is a two week intensive summer course ideal for teenagers (13-19 yr old).  It will be held in 3 different rotations through the summer of 2017,  Monday to Friday for 2 weeks.  Start dates include June 19th , July 17th, and August 14th, from 1:30 to 5:30 pm.  Students will gain experience in filmmaking and become exposed to the various career opportunities available in the film industry. Find out if filmmaking is right for them!

During the film program, students will direct, shoot, and edit a short 5-7 minute script of the group’s choosing. The first week of class will involve primarily instruction, while the second week of class will involve primarily production of the film. The students will then view their film on the large screen at a local theater for friends and family and receive a digital copy of the film to keep!
