Join world renowned storyteller Dr. Joseph Sobol for his afternoon of storytelling of “Jack and the Least Gal.” It is a two-act fantasia on Appalachian wonder tale themes, an Appalachian “Into the Woods,” in which the many incarnations of the folk tale hero Jack and his feminine counterpart, the Youngest Daughter or Least Gal, meet on the road of trials and walk in and out of one another’s adventures. A contemporary take on the wonder tale tradition, replete with original and traditional songs and tunes, moving from comedy to romance to mystic rebirth.

This event is FREE and open to the public. Doors will open at 1:30PM in the Pack Library auditorium. Sponsored by The Friends of the Library.
