ROLLING FOR READING BOOKMOBILE

September 23, 2024 – May 19, 2025

The Buncombe County Schools Bookmobile is a FREE program where K-5th grade can choose a book to check out from their library each week. Weekly attendance with a book return will be rewarded. Families can participate by visiting one of their community sites labeled with an asterisk below. There is absolutely no pre-enrollment required except that you and your child live in the Buncombe County School District. Their site locations include schools, mobile home parks, apartment complexes and community centers. THE BOOKMOBILE OPERATES ON THE BUNCOMBE COUNTY SCHOOLS SCHEDULE, SO WHEN SCHOOLS ARE OFF, THE BOOKMOBILE DOES NOT RUN.

MONDAYS

• 8:40 am – Barnardsville Elem. Head Start 
• 9:25 am – North Buncombe High Preschool  
• 10:15 am – Weaverville  Primary Head Start 
• 10:55 am – Childcare Network / North
• 1:15 pm – Leicester Community Center*
