Ribbon Cutting Ceremony @ Graveyard Fields, Milepost 418 (Blue Ridge Parkway) | Laurel Springs | North Carolina | United States

In 2014, the Foundation partnered with the U.S. Forest Service to construct an extended boardwalk along the hiking trail at Graveyard Fields to protect the fragile habitat. We recently completed topped off the project by adding educational signs along the trail that cover the history and environmental significance of this fascinating spot on Blue Ridge Parkway.

You’re invited join the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, Superintendent Mark Woods, and Pisgah National Forest District Ranger Dave Casey to celebrate the completion of this important project.
