North Carolina Author Laurie McKay will talk to Middle School Students about writing and her new book Quest Maker. Registration is encouraged but not required
Babies ages birth to 17 months and their caregivers are invited to a bouncing, singing, talking, and playing time of fun! We start with about a 20 to 30 minute program of books, action rhymes, and songs and then end with a time of open play and socializing. All activities are designed to get little ones ready to read.
Families are welcome to come join us on Thursday mornings for singing, dancing, stories, and rhymes. Come ready to move!
Join us for Family Storytime on Thursday mornings at 10am. All ages are welcome to come enjoy stories, songs, and a craft!
This show is free, but due to limited space you need a ticket to attend. Tickets may be picked up in person in the Youth Services Department downstairs at Pack Library.

With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble, and a rebel Martian girl called Ki, Milo just might find his way back to his mom – in more ways than one. This free film is rated PG.
Calling all Teens and Tweens! Come tell us what you want to see and do at the Oakley Library and join the new Oakley Library Teen Group. Let’s talk about what programs, events, books, music, etc. that you would like to see at our library. And we’ll eat pizza too! Open to any teen or tween 6th grade and up.
We will make recycled crafts and talk about how to love the earth with Christine Brown from Asheville Greenworks. For kids 6-12.
