Free Family Fun to Celebrate Bob Christians Day! (4yrs+)
Join the ladies on site from 10am-2pm May 1st for free classes, flying or otherwise. No experience is necessary, but flyers are required to be ages 4 and up, as well as 250 lbs or less. Participants are given full instruction and can watch a demonstration before beginning their experience. Flyers are coached by experienced staff on a basic trick. Flyers are in safety lines for their entire experience off the ground, so they can relax and have a good time. Some folks consider taking a swing a full experience, while others are trained to fly across to a professional catcher. “The momentum and timing of our instructions allow us to guide beginners through executing a successful trick their very first time. It is very rewarding to be a part of!” Aiken shares.
Dare to Fly Trapeze will join flying trapeze schools across the globe to celebrate the life and legacy of Bob Christians on Sunday, May 1. The event will offer free flying trapeze from 10am-2pm. Trapeze performers, instructors, and enthusiasts are also invited to stop by and share their memories of Christians.
