Easter Eggstravaganza

Join us on Saturday April 1st at 11am for an Easter Eggstravaganza! We will have lots of family fun activities! There will be an inflatable, face painting, crafts, free pizza lunch and an Easter egg hunt for ages toddler-5th grade.

Hippity Hoppity EGG HUNT

Come join us from 11a-1p on March 18. Pastor Jeff will share the Easter Story and you can enjoy a family friendly lunch. We will have also have of eggs to hunt with fun prizes.

If it keeps raining we will postpone our bigggg Easter Egg hunt to next Saturday, April 15th! BUT we will still have little hunts inside on April 8th!

Downtown After 5 Asheville Concert Series

Downtown After 5 is more than just a concert series—it’s a community staple that celebrates the diversity and creativity of Asheville. Each event is free to the public, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and partners, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of between 5,000 to 6,000 attendees. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site alongside a marketplace component where attendees can explore and shop handmade crafts from local makers. Join us at Pack Square Park for these unforgettable evenings of music, community, and celebration.

  • April 18 | Kick off spring in full bloom at our first Downtown After 5 of the year! Join us for a night of great music featuring Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast with Dirty French Broads opening the show
  • June 20 | Join us as we partner with the Martin Luther King Jr. Association and Black Wall Street to celebrate Juneteenth! Featuring headliner Southern Avenue and opener DJ Phantom Pantone.
  • August 15 | Join us as we partner with Blue Ridge Pride for a 90s Country-themed Downtown After 5! Featuring headliner Mustache the Band and opener Shakey’s Live Band Karaoke.

WNC Charity Fire Truck Pull

The WNC Charity Fire Truck Pull will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. in the Expo Building. Come watch as teams from across the Carolinas compete in a double-elimination bracket to pull two fire trucks in a race for the best time. For more information, please visit the link below.

FREE Spring Home Depot Kids Workshop – Poolside Birdhouse

Kids Workshops at all area Home Depot stores! In addition to bringing families together, The Home Depot’s Kids Workshops create a hands-on learning experience that sparks creativity, promotes problem-solving and encourages social interaction for the youngest generation of DIYers. Each month a new seasonal-themed workshop is offered. All tools and materials needed to complete the Workshop are available and a Home Depot Associate is there to assist families as necessary. All Kids in attendance get to keep their craft, and receive a certificate of achievement, a kid-sized Home Depot Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All FREE.

 

Apr 1st Poolside Birdhouse

DIY CHILDREN’S WORKSHOP & EASTER EGG HUNT

Join us for an Egg Hunt in the studio and then DIY a cute sign for their room! Select a wood project from the available options in our gallery. We provide all the materials and instruct your child step-by-step to create a beautiful piece of decor. Choose from a variety of paint colors and glitter in the workshop.

Pre-registration is required for each person

Easter Sunday at The Monte Vista!

Hop on in and join us for Easter Sunday! We will be featuring an Easter Brunch Buffet in our beautiful boutique hotel with an appearance from the Easter bunny!
The brunch will run from 11am- 3pm. Pricing is $55 for adults and $20 for kids. Price does not include tax & gratuity.
The Easter Bunny will be here from 12pm to 2pm outside at the Gazebo for photos. We will also have fun lawn games & more set up all day including an Easter Egg Hunt at noon.
The brunch buffet menu will be coming soon to our website. We look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Let your artistic animal out!
Sign the whole family up for a step-by-step instruction painting of one of our red pandasl! Ticket price includes admission to the WNC Nature Center afterwards.
$15-$30 per adult, $20 per child, with member discounts available.
Pre-registration required. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times during this event.
