ArtSpace Summer Day Camp (1st/4th or 5th-8th Grade)

This year ArtSpace is offering 4 themed camps at different times throughout the summer.  Camp Hours are 9:00am-4:00pm, with extended hours before and after for an additional fee.

Annual Asheville-Buncombe Memorial Day Concert and Ceremony

The City of Asheville and Buncombe County will host a Memorial Day Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. May 27 at the Bascom Lamar Lunsford Stage, Roger McGuire Green in Pack Square Park. The ceremony will feature short readings by local veterans and live patriotic music. Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer and Buncombe County Board of Commissioners Chairman Brownie Newman will participate in a Recognition of Service.

River Arts Ballet World Premiere of The Twelve Dancing Princesses A Grimm Fairytale reimagined May 27 & 28th.

Tickets for the River Arts Ballet Production of The Twelve Dancing Princesses at the Masonic Temple (upstairs theater) in Asheville, NC are now available through
~Thurs May 26th, 6-8pm (Open to public through ticket sales, Dress Reh and Tech Run)
~Friday May 27th, 6-8pm
~Saturday May 28th, 6-8pm

This Performance is held in collaboration with Black Mountain Center for the Arts and NU Paradigm Entertainment with special performance of the River Arts Ballet Hip Hop classes Directed by Otto “Aquaboogy” Vasquez.

Cloth Diapering 101 Class

Cloth Diaper 101: Our Cloth Diaper 101 class usually takes place on the 4th Thursday of every month.  In this class we cover all of the different styles of cloth diapers as well as offer the pros and cons of each style, how to care for your diapers, washing instructions, and how to mix and match parts and pieces all in an effort to help you come up with a system that works for you.  This is a free class, however space is limited to 10 couples to ensure everyone has ample opportunity to get the information they need.

All classes begin at 6:30pm.  Please try to arrive a little early so that class can begin on time.

Grade School Skill Thrill (6-12yrs)

Thrill seekers wanted! Your child will take their gymnastics skills to the next level through a special three-hour program, focusing on specific beginner, intermediate or advanced moves. By the end of the summer they’ll stick the landing when they handspring back to school.

Kids Summer Camp (3-8yrs)

Day camp at The Little Gym of Asheville gives your kid the summer camp experience in without the bug bites, poison ivy and week-long commitments. Combining fun physical activity, games, and arts & crafts, we’ll help your child beat the summer heat by staying cool at The Little Gym.  Our fantastic camps in Asheville are also available during some other school breaks!

SUPER KIDS QUEST: Your child will spend three adventure-filled hours a day on a unique, exciting quest with their friends. Each week revolves around an interactive learning theme with different, creative lesson plans that will keep your child engaged.
