”Hero Central” Vacation Bible School begins

June 18th-22nd

Take kids on awesome adventures alongside some of their favorite Bible heroes and discover the qualities that make us truly heroic in God. VBS Hero Central uses epic music, spectacular science, crafty crafts, heroic recreation, and fantastic Bible stories to help kids (and leaders) discover their strength in God!

The Food Pantry is open every third Saturday @ 10am to the community.  Application forms are available at the church office.  Please call the numbers below for more information.

‘Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity’ Vacation Bible School begins (4yrs-6th Grade)

Mon July 16 – Friday July 20, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

Make plans this summer for your children to attend SUMC Vacation Bible School! Come enjoy a fun-filled week packed with Bible stories, games, crafts, skits, and of course songs! Join us for Babylon, as we meet Daniel and discover his courage in captivity. Explore exotic sights and smells in a Babylonian bazaar!

 

Ages: 4 years – 6th grade

Registration closes 6/17 or when maximum capacity is reached.

‘Hero Central’ Vacation Bible School (2yrs-6th Grade)

Children and Intermediates (2 years old through sixth grade) are welcome to join us for Vacation Bible School this summer!

On Sunday morning, July 9, VBS will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. On Monday through Thursday, July 10-13, a light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and VBS will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Ministries Center.

‘Operation Arctic’ Vacation Bible School (PreK-12th Grade)

Monday, July 10th – Friday, July 14th, 2017

From 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday night

Welcome to Operation Arctic! Every day, our kids are bombarded with the message that the Bible isn’t the true Word of God, that it can’t be trusted to tell us the truth about the past or, more importantly, about how we can receive the gift of eternal life.

With the Operation Arctic VBS 2017 theme, your kids will warm up to the Word as they explore the coolest Book on the planet and discover how we can know for sure that the Bible is God’s written word to us!

Join us for our Vacation Bible School, where kids will have fun while learning from the Bible. In this day and age, it’s vital that we teach our children that the Bible is more than just a dusty book of stories. We need to show them God’s Word connects to every area of our lives and is as relevant today as it was thousands of years ago.
