Kith & Kin Olympic Day Event
JULY 6th FUN!!!! Kith and Kin will be on the fairgrounds instead of the library! Everybody is welcome so come on out for the Madison County Library celebration!
As part of the Madison County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, we have scheduled an Olympic Day event at the Madison County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 6, from 10 am to 1 pm. We will offer an area designed especially for children birth to five years old. In addition to a small “bounce house” and small waterslide, we will be offering additional activities including some outdoor messy fun: painting, paper mulch “mud” kitchen, and also a quiet/cozy area for just chilling out. Smart Start/MCPFC&F, Rosie from Kith & Kin, and CDSA folks will be on-site and ready to play.

TUXEDO: 49th Annual Fireworks Display 2024
Roscoe’s Marathon Station in Tuxedo (near Zirconia) … If you haven’t been, these are some of the best in the area, and well worth the short drive. They put on an amazing show every year, and shoot them off from the mountain behind the station, making them feel like they’re right above your head! It’s an all day party, so get there early and tailgate. Fireworks shot off at dark.
The The Chuckwagon and B’s Sugarwerx food trucks will be onsite.
“Please be mindful that we are a growing community. Our goal is to provide a fun, family friendly and safe experience for everyone to enjoy. It is our pleasure to open our doors and welcome everyone. Shooting personal fireworks, use of alcohol and drugs are not permitted on or around premises. Be respectful and considerate of those around you and clean up after yourselves.”
