Nothing says summertime like the taste of fresh-off-the-vine, juicy, aromatic, heirloom tomatoes! To share in the experience, we’re offering tastings of delicious, organic, heirloom tomatoes, grown locally by our friends at Ostara Farm in Leicester. There will be a chance to vote on your favorite varieties. Plus, we’ll have samples of cheese made from our own cheese kits paired with Genovese basil grown in our hydroponics system. 10% off cheese kits all day!

In 1916, Western North Carolina experienced one the most devastating floods in recent memory. This documentary explores what caused the flood, the destruction it left, and asks, “what if this happened again”.
This showing is free at the Old Fort Elementary auditorium and seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
This event is supported by the Center for Cultural Preservation, the North Carolina Humanities Counsel, and Duke Energy.
We are hosting a church-wide yard sale on July 30! Come check out the items we have to offer. Tools, furniture, baby items, toys, pianos, exercise equipment, and so much more! All proceeds benefit the ministry of The Community on Haywood!
