Farm Heritage Trail Fall Event: Pick your own flowers
Come pick your own flowers and meet the farmers behind Lady Luck Flower Farm in Sandy Mush, NC. Established in 2008, Katie and Mike grow 5 acres of flowers, food and herbal medicine. On Saturday Sept. 10th they will be open from 10-2 for visitors to come and pick flowers. There will also be an old-timey apple press in action with heirloom apples harvested from their mountain orchard. Bouquets, t-shirts, small planters and cider will be for sale.
Bring a picnic lunch and take your time. Come out and enjoy the beautiful views, flowers and the first taste of fall with some fresh heirloom apple cider! You can bring home a beautiful bouquet to fill your house with joy and color!

‘Mondays’ Masterpiece’ Toddler/Preschooler Program (2-5yrs)
For ages 2-5 with an adult.
Mondays, Sept 12th-Oct 24th 10:00am-10:45am, free play until 12noon
Inspire your young child’s imagination and self-expression with a world of hands-on art activities. Art classes for young children will encourage confidence and support artistic potential. Toddlers and their parents will discover art hands-on through sculpture, painting, a tactile table and more.

5th Annual ‘Doggie Dip Dog Swim’
Bring your dog for a swim! Dogs 35 pounds and under swim from 12noon-2pm. Dogs 36 pounds or more swim from 2:30-5pm. The event is rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of lightning. You’ll need vet records to show your pooch is current on vaccinations and has been spayed or neutered. For info and to check out the rules, visit www.ashevillenc.gov/parks.

S’Mores & A Movie Night
Come cozy up at Blue Ghost over s’mores and a movie.
– There are no tickets required for admission.
– S’mores packages will be available for purchase from The Hungry Ghost starting at 5PM & we’ll have mini fires for you to melt your marshmallows on!
– We’ll be showing the classic film Back to the Future at 6:30PM.
– This event will be curfew free which means children under 12 may stay at the brewery past 8PM. The movie will start at 6:30PM but come early to grab dinner, beers & your s’mores package!

Burton Street Agricultural Fair

Heads up! Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts are coming to downtown Asheville this September! The 4th Annual GEICO Motorcycle HOT BIKE TOUR is starting off its 5-day tour in Asheville on Wednesday, September 7th at Pack Square Park and the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.
Featuring 28 professional custom bike builders building one-of-a-kind motorcycles AND riding them each day of the tour, Asheville’s kick-off of the Hot Bike Tour will include a live musical performance by The Dirty Soul Revival at Pack Square Park, a featured 2016 exhaust line from Asheville-based Rinehart Racing, and a slew of editors, staff, and photographers from the national magazines Hot Bike Magazine, Baggers Magazine, and Street Chopper! FREE to spectators!
