Join us for a day of fun! We will have cotton candy, fire truck rides, popcorn, snowcowns, and more! We will be providing a day of fire prevention education with tons of activities ranging from the smoke house to the Junior Firefighter combat challenge! It is all FREE!!
The fun starts at 10am and will end at 2pm. We hope to see everyone from our community come out and enjoy the day with us.
Join us as we teach children that you don’t have to be a grown up to make a difference. Kids will leave with the energy and motivation to help others. We will help everyone discover their inner superhero.
Kids Eat for $1.99! (with the purchase of an adult or senior regular priced buffet.
Individuals are encouraged to bring in a canned good for our food drive.

Have you ever wanted to get to know the birds that you see and hear around you? Come join international birdwatching guide Kevin Burke for an easy stroll around Lake Julian Park. We will spend a couple leisurely hours looking for as many birds as we can find. There will be plenty of time for questions and ID study of all the birds that we see. Let’s have some fun and find some birds.
We’ll meet at Diamond Brand Outdoors in Parkway Center and carpool to Lake Julian. Kids and well-behaved pets with owner on leash are welcome at this FREE event.
FREE COMMUNITY EVENT: Carolina Day School invites area parents, schools, students (grades 5-12), and teachers to a free community forum on the effects of screentime on the human brain, featuring a large-screen showing and discussion of the film, “Screenagers,” led by Dr. Beth Vo, Asheville pediatric physician.
