What!?
A gloriously epic family friendly Halloween festival in full costume! We invite the greater Asheville community to join us for fun games, colorful music, delicious food, bounce houses, a very scary haunted house as well as a raffle and silent auction. This very popular annual event raises money for improvements to the Rainbow Community Center and Children First CIS of Buncombe County, a local nonprofit committed to advocating and empowering children and families living in poverty.

Free to attend. Tickets purchased to participate in activities.

Trunk Wars 2016

 

Come join us as dozens of participants battle to be Trunk Wars Champ ’16.  Candy, games, costumes, and silliness will highlight this event. Celebrity Judges will help select winning trunks, but participants will choose Trunk Wars Champ ’16!

Food is available for purchase.  The event itself is FREE.

We ask that participants bring School Supplies/Hygiene Products for CRAM the VAN to support students in need in Haywood County.

Fall Festival

Did you know we were voted #1 Festival in WNC last year!?

Join us on October 26 for our Free Fall Festival!

We will have live music, a petting zoo, a photobooth, games, free snacks, rock climbing, archery, BB’s, horses, a CHILI COOK OFF*, costume contest, and much, much more! Fun for all ages!

We will be selling $5 meal tickets at Check-In which will get you a hamburger or hotdog meal!

We will also be giving away TWO FREE SESSIONS OF CAMP as well as other camp giveaways throughout the day.

Don’t forget to sign up for camp! We will be offering a 10% discount to anyone who signs up for camp that day! (use promo code FALL19-valid event day only)

So grab your neighbors, friends, and family and come join in on the fun!

*We are currently seeking folks interested in fighting for the 2019 title of Best Chili in Asheville, as well as ONE FREE SESSION OF CAMP! All types of chili will be accepted including traditional chili, white chili and vegetarian chili. Bright Star Theatre presents The Story of Anne Frank (Best for 4th Grade-Adult)

4:00pm-5:00pm @ Mills River Library

6:30m-7:30pm @ Main Hendersonville Library

Bright Star Theatre traveled all the way to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam for research on this remarkable story.  Join us in honoring the end of World War II with this production that celebrates the courage of young Anne Frank and her family.  This production is designed to offer an engaging and accessible approach to this time in history.  The Story of Anne Frank seeks to honor the strength of the human spirit even in the most challenging of times. This program is best for grades 4th-Adult.
