Extra perks!!! – Need a date night out with your spouse? Got errands to run? Last minute end of the week “to-do’s”? Or do you want to just spoil your kid with a fun and active evening? Drop your kids off at 6pm and pick them up at 9pm. I’ll feed them dinner, get them moving and teach them some in Mixed Martial Arts!

Free Nature Play Event!! Join us on Saturday, October 15th for a fun family hike! We’ll be meeting in the parking lot of the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center at 1 pm and hiking the Visitor Center Loop Trail. This trail is an easy, 1.2 mile loop that is little kid friendly and a great place to explore nature. Anyone who is interested can participate in our Nature Safari, where we’ll look for signs of wildlife along the trail, or just come along for the hike!
There’s room for everyone, but please RSVP to let them know if you’re interested so that they make sure they don’t start the hike before everyone arrives!

Join a Park Ranger from Chimney Rock State Park to begin your adventure into the basics of black bears. What do bears eat? Where do they live? Do they hibernate during NC winters? And will they attack? Let’s answer these and other common questions about the largest land mammals in our woods. The ranger will read a true story book about an adventurous bear from the Great Smoky Mountains.
