Pixar Film Series: “A Bug’s Life”
A Bug’s Life is a modernized retelling of the Aesop fable The Ant and the Grasshopper. Unpopular inventor-ant Flik accidentally destroys the colony’s yearly food offering to the gangster-grasshoppers. He leaves the anthill to look for bigger bugs to help fight the grasshoppers, and brings back a group of circus insects that he mistakenly believes are experienced fighters. Ultimately Flik convinces the colony to stand up to the grasshoppers and drive them away.
