Festive Fused Ornaments Class (7+yrs)

• Saturday Dec. 10th – 10a, 12p, 2p, & 4p
• Saturday Dec. 17th- 10a, 12p, 2p, & 4p
• Friday Dec. 23rd- 10a, 12p, 2p, & 4p

Class is 30-45 minutes in length, with a maximum of 6 students per class. Reservations are required

Festive Fused Ornaments- Our Festive Fusing class is a great way to spend time with family and friends creating fused glass ornaments for your tree or to hang in a window. Layer glass to create winter scenes or iconic holiday figures. You can create an ornament to keep for yourself or give as a gift.

 

Ideal for kids and adults (ages 7- 16 must be accompanied by parent).

Parents Night Off / Kids Night Out

Asheville Wing War 2017

The Asheville Wing War is the most entertaining and exciting way to discover the best restaurants and chefs in your community. Our national event production company pits restaurant vs restaurant in a head to head competition and you get to be the judge!

A production of All American Food Fights, the Asheville Wing War has become one of the area’s most notable and exciting food events. On March 5 from 2-5pm, up to fifteen restaurants will prepare spicy traditional wings or specialty wings of a variety of flavors and serve them up piping hot with a side of live music and ice cold beer.

We explore the background, research, and science behind this, as we look at what it means to be resilient and how we can build resiliency in ourselves, our children, and our communities.

Mix and Mingle with Parent U!

In appreciation for our partners, families, and community, Parent U will be hosting its first Holiday Mixer! Please join us on December 15th at The Montford School from 6-8pm for some holiday fun! Art After School (K-5th Grade)

Art After School at the East Asheville Library

For K-5th grade students

Take part in this free hands-on program hosted by youth educators from the Asheville Art Museum. For this session we will focus on African American art. Learn something exciting, view original art, and make a piece to take home. Designed for school-aged children.
