Come make holiday gifts for mom, dad, grandma, BFF, you name it! We’ll be making magnets ornaments, pomanders, duct tape pens and key chains, plus wrapping them while you’re here so there’s no peeking. Open to kids age 4-12. Call or come by the library to sign up. Space is limited.
Educators from Asheville Art Museum will visit the second Wednesday of every month to teach different aspects of art and provide an art activity. Kids learn about art and also make something cool to bring home. For school aged kids.
It’s summer! That means swimming, outdoor adventures, and hot weather. Come cool off and celebrate the season at Pack Memorial Library with a free screening of a daring ocean adventurer, MOANA, this Saturday, July 1. Snacks and beverages provided. Movie starts at 1:30 PM. (Movie appropriate for everyone, of all ages.)

The UNC Asheville Bulldogs welcome mountain rival, Western Carolina, to Kimmel Arena. We will finishing our food drive to benefit Manna Food Bank presented by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Ingles.
This local history play will open on December 15 and will include the announcement of the Walk of Fame inaugural class. The play will take place on December 15, 16, and 17 at 7:30pm and a matinee on December 17 at 2:00pm at the Henderson County Historic Courthouse.
The Walk of Fame project is jointly supported by the City of Hendersonville and Henderson County. ‘Unwrapped Local History” is a part of Hendersonville’s “Home for the Holidays” celebration. The two-act play, compiled and written by Tom E. Orr, is a fundraiser to support the Walk of Fame project initiated this past year. Tickets are available at Henderson County Travel and Tourism located at 201 South Main Street, Hendersonville, NC. The cost is $10/ticket.
Crucible Glassworks annual Oranament Extravaganza starts Friday Dec 16th through Saturday the 17th.
