Mark your calendars now for our Folk Festival in October! This event is free and celebrates the traditions and cultures of the people who call the North Carolina mountains home. Programs and demonstrations will feature old-time music, local craftsmen, and artists. Observe cooking demonstrations in the historic Vance hearth or a local blacksmith as he uses his anvil to shape metal. You can spend the day in the Reems Creek Valley with delicious barbecue for purchase from Mountain View BBQ & Deli and free crafts for kids!
