April 7th we’ll be kicking off Highland’s outdoor season with the opening of the Rooftop Bar (21+) and the Meadow (Family Friendly)!
We’ve made the Rooftop dog friendly, so bring your pup to enjoy a pint with you. We’ve also extended our hours for the summer, meaning you can now enjoy sunset from the roof!
Davina and The Vagabonds will be playing a killer free show in the Meadow, from 7-9pm.
As always, we’ll have food trucks on site, and great beers pouring.
Another food-related benefit for ABCCM! Join the Hominy Valley United Methodist Men on Saturday, March 25, for their semi-annual pancake breakfast fundraiser for our Hominy Valley Crisis Ministry center in Candler at FATZ Asheville, NC. The fundraiser will go from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and is $7 per person with tickets available at the door. Please help support our Crisis Ministry centers, which serve each year tens of thousands of people in Buncombe County!

Kids at HART brings the classic tale of Wilbur the Pig and Charlotte the Spider to the stage for two weekends! “Charlotte’s Web” is sure to delight children of all ages. Matinee Performances are Saturday, March 25 and Saturday, April 1 at 2:00 pm.

In this camp, girls will learn 2 dances. The camp will also include dance technique, history, field trips and a craft project. The camp will culminate in a performance at LEAF Downtown on August 5.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, June 27th-Aug 3rd, 10:00am-11:30am
Each class will combine dance, craft and more to learn about folk dances from all over the world. Class will culminate in a performance the first weekend of August.

The Eggstraordinary Egg Hunt is a family-friendly, age & ability inclusive event. It includes games, entertainment and an Egg Hunt at 3:30! For more information or to volunteer, please contact the TR Program staff at 828-232-4529 or trprogram@ashevillenc.gov.
Come and explore all things eggy! We will have several activities set up for creating your own handmade works of art. You can explore these ways to decorate eggs: natural dyes ,leaves and flowers to create images on eggs and even use old silk ties to create beautiful patterns. We will also have felting stations where you can make eggs, chicks and other spring creatures. The event is free but please bring your own hard boiled eggs to decorate.
