Community Open Swim (SEE DESCRIPTION FOR TIME)

6:00am-8:00am and 11:00am-1:00pm, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

The YMCA of Western North Carolina partners with Buncombe County Schools to manage the new Buncombe County Schools Aquatics Center. The 17,380 square foot building features a 10-lane, 400,000 gallon climate-controlled pool. The center also includes 420 spectator seats, a state-of-the-art timing and scoreboard system, UV water filtration, and numerous energy efficient design features.

At this time, we only offer lap swimming. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult and pass a swim test to be in the pool.

Easter Tea Service

We are hosting an Easter Afternoon Tea Service! Just like our regular Afternoon Tea’s, each guest is served a pot of tea of their choice and a variety of finger foods & treats — but this time, there’s an Easter twist to your treats!
Cost is $25 per Person //
$27 for GF & Vegan portions //
$15 for Children’s Portion

UPDATE: “Well, the forecast isn’t looking too great for tomorrow’s Easter event, SO we are rescheduling the event for NEXT SATURDAY, APRIL 15th! We will have over 200 eggs with prizes, a temporary tattoo booth, pony rides, a raffle, and more! Egg hunt is at 10:30 am, but the fun goes until 2 pm! Thank you for your understanding!”

Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet

2:00pm and 6:00pm showings
Gather your loved ones for the warm-glow-nostalgia of America’s favorite Christmas celebration. Experience the extraordinary international cast and Ukrainian Principal Artists performing at the peak of classical European Ballet. Be transported by the magic of jaw-dropping acrobatics, larger than life puppets and stunning hand-crafted sets and costumes.
👶 Children 2 and up will require a ticket for entry.

Fairview Handmade Market

We’ll have 30 local artisan vendors set up under the big barn at Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Fairview. You’ll find local massage therapists, potters, printmakers, blacksmiths, glass artists, woodworkers, papermakers, weavers and so much more! There will be coffee by The Roasted Roost, food by The Garden food truck, and a fundraiser plant sale for Root Cause Farm!
