Creative Crafting Workshop for the Lake Monster Parade with DotDot Crafters Club at Black Mountain Library. Help make beautiful art to decorate Lake Tomahawk for the upcoming Lake Monster Parade! You will be making large lake/ocean creatures and costumes, with all of the supplies you need, and a little creative inspiration from DotDot.
This workshop is for all ages.

Kids Safety Day at Celebrity’s Hotdogs. The Fraternal Order of Police will be making identakid, Buncombe county EMS will have an ambulance and Skyland fire will be there as well!

You can help them ensure all kids have the supplies they need to start the new year! The Annual Ingles Tools for Schools Supply Drive will be held August 2nd at the Ingles on Smokey Park Hwy. All of those supplies collected will be distributed to the local children in the community to help them get the school supplies they need to start the school year successfully. The lights go down and the glow goes up! Kids ages 6-12 enjoy glowing fun in the gym under black lights. Each month offers a different glow activity.
