The 310 ARTists are always telling tales whenever they paint, draw, create sculpture and other fabulous things. It is a visual way of communicating personal stories, the signs of the times, our cultural history and reflections of current events.
For the months of Oct, Nov and Dec 2017 we will finish this eventful year with our own collection of stories in visual form. The artists visually tell their own stories in words and pictures for a fall show that looks back on the past and casts a gaze to the future. Some art is introspective, and some renderings of scenes and real events.
On exhibit are watercolors of historical trains, provocative abstracts, works in encaustic in many methods, new sculptural pieces and much more.
A reception is opened to the public Saturday, Oct 7th from 3:30 – 6:00 with refreshments, new works on exhibit and a free community interactive painting project sponsored by 310 ART and Cheap Joe’s Art Supply. You can join in by painting your own stories on a canvas provided. This is a fun activity for all ages and families are welcomed to come.
Participate in an “art scavenger hunt” for a chance to win prizes. A drawing will be held at 5:45 for those who complete the hunt.
