Evergreen Outdoor Adventure Demo Day
Have you always wanted to take a crack at the Evergreen climbing wall or ropes course! Interested in riding one of our awesome Specialized bikes around ythe new bike track? Now’s your chance!
Evergreen Community Charter School is hosting the inaugural Adventure Demo Day–a family friendly event and open to the public. We are showcasing our adventure programs and invite you to come have fun climbing our climbing wall, exploring the trees on our high ropes course, having fun on our mountain bike trails, enjoying food and gear from local vendors, and enjoying live music all on our campus!
This is a benefit to help grow and sustain the adventure programs at Evergreen, providing scholarships for students, and supporting the costs of future adventure trips.
Come get a taste of our adventure-friendly campus, and try out some activities we love to enjoy at Evergreen not only in our Adventure Program, but also in our after school program, EverAfter, which is open to the greater Asheville community.

October Family Fun
Chimney Rock is home to incredible wildlife, and we are lucky to have Animal Educators to help us spread the word on the important roles they play in the Park. Join one of our Park Naturalists for an informal program where your family will love meeting some of our wilder teammates at 2 p.m. daily. Kids of all ages are sure to take home some fun facts and special memories. Then, grab a Track Trail brochure at Grady’s Animal Discovery Den and round out the day with a hike along our Great Woodland Adventure trail with 12 education stations. Don’t forget your camera!

Free Parent-Child Movement Class (2 and 3 Year Olds)
A fun time for parents and little ones to come together and move! Through games, songs and an interactive story, they will learn spatial awareness, how to connect with others in a group, and gain practice following simple directions as a team. Most importantly, their confidence in their movement abilities and readiness to be part of group classes will take off!
Try this free class and then, if you’d like, sign up for our 5 week series that starts November 4th! Cost for the series is $35 total.

Meet Baby James
In appreciation of all the people who have supported and prayed for him and have been dying to meet him, Baby James will be at Soggy Bottom Farm on October 14th. There will be food, music, and yard games so come hangout for a few hours and cuddle with cows!

Haunted Corn Maze & Big Barn Party
Join us for a night of ghosts and ghouls in the corn maze! After getting spooked in the maze, join us for a dance party in the Big Barn. DJ Disc-Oh! will be playing some great thriller tunes and we will be serving alcohol for those 21+.

Spooky Maze & Halloween Dance Party
A haunted corn maze, filled with spooky specters and ghastly ghouls! Followed up by a costume parade for big and little Halloweenies and a family friendly dance party! A local goodies bag will be provided for each little monster, and there will be drinks, snacks, a fire for roasting weenies and making s’mores.
