This year’s theme is “Christmas in the Mountains. Parade is Saturday, November 24th at 6:00 pm.

School’s Out Camp
The Y is a working parent’s best friend. When school is out for winter or spring break, teacher work days, or other one-off holidays, the Y is in with all-day, fun active child care. It’s a win-win. There’s no “I’m bored!” from the kids, and you don’t have to stress while you’re at work.

Rates
School’s Out days come at no additional cost to YMCA of WNC Afterschool participants in Buncombe and McDowell counties.
For non-program participants:
$40/day Buncombe County
$30/day McDowell County
In Henderson County, program runs from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. for children ages 4-12. Members $25/day, non-members $30/day.

Veterans and their immediate family members FREE
Active Military Members, Veterans, and their immediate families are welcome to visit any of our six YMCA of WNC centers on Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11, 2017. Enjoy open swim, take a Group Exercise class or try a workout in our Wellness Center at no cost. Must be over 18 with valid photo ID and provide proof of military service. Please visit our mobile app or website for locations, hours and daily schedule. Share this with a Veteran or Active Military member you know!

Polar Express at the Depot
All Aboard!
Join the Apple Valley Railroad Club for a special Polar Express Story Party at the Historic Hendersonville Depot following the Christmas parade in downtown. Polar Expres will be read at approximately12:30, 1:30 and 2:30. Space is limited to 40 per reading and will last 15-20 minutes per reading.. Santa, free hot chocolate and goodies will also be available. All ages are welcomed

Holiday Magic & Memories Open House
Zaniac joins Bitmore Park Town Square to ring in the 2017 holiday season with Holiday Magic & Memories, the annual celebration on Saturday, December 2nd.This family friendly holiday event will take place along Town Square Boulevard from 2:30 to 6 p.m. with the lighting of the Christmas tree at 6 p.m.
Drop in to Zaniac to pick up your own 3D Printed Ornament for your tree! Practice creating your own design.
Strolling entertainment with jugglers, magicians and stilt walkers will fill Town Square Boulevard. There will be face painting, balloon art, crafts for kids and refreshments for all.
Be sure to bring your camera to capture that special moment with Santa Claus as he visits with children from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

2:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. – Enjoy activities, crafts and fun for the entire family along Town Square Boulevard.

6:00 p.m. – Join us as we light the tree and celebrate the Holidays in Biltmore Park Town Square.
