Kids Winter Break Improv Camp (7-10yrs)
Asheville Improv Collective presents AIC Kid Improv Camp, a theatrical workshop for students ages 7-10.
Students will have the experience of working on a professional stage with experienced instructors, Katie Jones and Marlene Thompson! This 3 day workshop will include theatre games, creative drama, character development, and Scene work, all grounded in the technique of improvisation! The workshop will culminate in a sharing of work with friends and family.
The workshop will take place over Winter Break – Wednesday, December 20 through Friday, December 22 from 9am-5pm at The Magnetic Theatre, located at 375 Depot St. in Asheville’s River Arts District. Cost is $249 for the 3 day camp.

This is considered to be a moderate hike. -Moderate hikes mean- some elevation changes, either up or down. Distances are usually 5-10 miles. Trails include rocks, roots, water passage, and/or steps. Slopes are not very steep or long, but enough to stress the body and raise the heart rate. Please make your own judgement as to whether you can hike this or not. Canton Christmas Parade
The Canton Christmas Parade will be held on December 5, 2019 at 6pm in downtown Canton. This year’s them is “No place like Home for Christmas”. We will be offering 15-minute professional portrait photo shoot sessions at an affordable price of $7.00 per photo. Capture special moments with you and your Furry Friends in holiday costumes or use a few that are available. (Be sure to watch the short 1-minute video of this fun event).
