2017 Canton Christmas Tour of Homes
This Sunday from 1-5, the Canton Educational Foundation will be sponsoring the Canton Christmas Parade of Homes. The museum is the host. Come by the museum and register for one of the historical photos enlarged by Roland Osborne. Phil Paxton will be displaying his paintings featuring the Canton area countryside. Also, we will be serving apple cider, coffee, and cookies. Be sure to check under the Christmas tree downstairs. Underneath will be Christmas Cards and ornaments that the museum is giving away.

Prepare for the holidays by making Christmas themed crafts with the elves from Hands On! Let your child give the gift of a homemade ornament this year.
Fun for kids of all ages, but young children will need adult supervision. This free program is funded by the Mills River Friends of the Library.

Intro to Ornithology (K-5th Grade)
Scientists need YOUR help in studying birds everywhere, including your own backyard!
Join us for an introduction to ornithology, the study of birds. You’ll discover how to identify some common birds and join us for a short birding walk. You can also join our crew of ecoEXPLORERS — kids who submit observations of plants and animals for scientists to study and earn prizes while they do it.
Find out how you can earn your Ornithology Field Badge and a free pass to Backyard Bird Day on Feb. 17th. For ages 5 to 13 but all ages are welcome to attend.
