This film won over 30 Best Animated Film Awards around the world including the Academy Award. The most respected film critics agree it is as much a film designed for adults to love as it is for children.
The story follows a sullen 10-year-old girl who gets lost during her family’s move to the suburbs, and ends up wandering into a world ruled by gods, witches, and spirits where humans are changed into beasts. It was produced by Studio Ghibli who, along with Pixar, is the most respected animation studio in the world.
The animation is absolutely stunning which is no surprise to anyone who knows the work or writer/director Hayao Miyazaki. For only $3.00 per ticket, don’t miss a rare opportunity to see this classic on the big screen !
“Spirited Away” is Rated PG for mild threats and scary scene
