Come study the different types of camouflage that animals use. Then, we will create some camo using coffee filters and markers. This program is suggested for ages 6-12. Call the Canton Library at 648-2924 if you have questions. No registration is necessary.

Blue Ghost Sunday Brunch Featuring Chimney Rock
Join us on February 25th for our last Sunday of the month Brunch!.
We’ll be opening at 12 Noon and The Hungry Ghost will be serving up delicious dishes like Chicken & Waffles, Huevos Rancheros, and more! In addition to brunch, we’ll have regular menu items available for lunch & dinner until 7PM.
Bring the whole family because we’ll have a special learning experience/entertainment this month: Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park. They’ll have a naturalist from Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park get personal with some of their resident animal ambassadors while learning about the wildlife that roams our region. Participants will gain knowledge on habitats, adaptations and animal characteristics during this exciting session. After the program stay and make a track guide to take home and explore what’s roaming around your yard! 10% of sales from 2-4PM (during the program) will go to their animal educators exhibits and care.
Formal Program: 2-3PM / Hands-on Activities: 3-4PM
As always, we’ll be mixing up Mimosa Kolsch at the bar in your choice of orange or grapefruit juice! And stay tuned in case we decide to tap a special keg for the day…

Rocky the Bulldog will be passing out game tickets!
Rocky the Bulldog will be spending his Wednesday lunch break in downtown Asheville, and he took a stack of tickets for our Men’s Basketball game vs. Winthrop with him. If you’re wearing your Bulldog Blue for ESPNU around the city on Wednesday afternoon, you may be lucky enough to get an extra ticket.

Doula & Family Meet & Greet
Join the Doulas of Asheville team of Birth Doulas, Postpartum & Infant Care Doulas, Placenta Encapsulators, and Educators for our monthly “meet the doulas” event.
Anyone exploring their options for professional support during pregnancy, birth, and the adjustment to life with infant(s) is welcome, as is anyone looking to make connections with other expectant and new families in the Asheville area.
Our doulas will be on hand to facilitate conversations and help make connections. We’re also happy to answer any questions you have about your birth or postpartum plans.
Snacks and beverages will be provided, feel free to bring anything you need for yourself or your children to be comfortable. There’s a small play area next to the classroom where we meet, so feel free to bring the kids!
These events are FREE and open to the public. Advanced registration either through the Facebook event or our Eventbrite registration link is helpful but not required.

Children’s Music Showcase and Album Release

Join Asheville’s newest children’s music duo, Dolphin Bum Bum, as they release their first album of music created for (and with) local kids! Dolphin Bum Bum brings a joyous musical experience to families and provides a safe space for kids to participate in the songs, connect with each other, and do lots of singing. This showcase event also includes a variety of other local performers and teachers who bring positive, interactive, and educational experiences to children and their families.
Doors @ 12:30 PM, Show 1 – 2:30 PM
Tickets are $5 / person, lap babies free. Families of 4 or greater attend for $20.
