Curious about 3D Printing? Want to feel like an expert on this amazing technology in only 3 hours? Join us in the AMOS STEM lab for a three hour intensive on how to design objects using computer aided design tools such as TinkerCad. In our first hour we will be getting used to the tools of design, the second hour will be about hardware and workflow. Our third hour will be spent printing prototypes of your designs on one of our three printers to take home and impress your friends and family with. This is a bring your own computer course, but computers are available to those who need them. This workshop is open to ages 8 and up. Please bring a snack, we will have two fifteen minute breaks. No nut products permitted.

Build a Hot Glue Sculpture (teens +)
Join artist Jennifer Tedder at North Asheville Library for a free craft class. Participants will create sculptures using hot glue and found objects such as buttons, broken jewelry, scrap metal, or fabric. Some materials will be provided, but participants are encouraged to supplement with their own collections of interesting junk. This event is free and suitable for teenagers and adults.

With 419 units in the system, the National Park Service has come a long way in 101 years! Join a Park Ranger to learn more about the history of the National Park Service and how it has evolved into what it is today.
11:30 – Noon – Children’s Earth Anthem
Stick around to hear the AC Reynolds 7th grade choir sing a song especially written and scored in honor of the National Park Service Centennial and here other classic patriotic tunes as well!

Asheville Tourists Home Game – Double Header
Monday’s (April 23rd) scheduled series-opening contest at McCormick Field between the Asheville Tourists and the Lexington Legends has been postponed due to rainy conditions.
The two clubs will make up the nights scheduled contest as part of a double-header on Wednesday, April 25. The first of the two seven-inning contests will begin at 5:35pm with gates opening at 5:00pm.
Fans with tickets to the postponed game can exchange them out for tickets to any future 2018 Asheville Tourists home game excluding July 4th. Ticket exchanges can be made in person at the ServPro Box Office at McCormick Field or by calling the Front Office at (828) 258-0428.
The Tourists will begin their homestand Tuesday evening at 7:05pm against the Legends. The homestand runs through Sunday, April 29.
