Pink Dog Creative Presents: The Community Container Project

Express your inner artist! All Kids Welcomed! Pink Dog Creative in collaboration with LEAF Easel Rider,is presenting an opportunity for kids to create artwork that may be selected for a community mural adorning an ever-changing shipping container located in the River Arts District. This is a free event!

Child Abuse Prevention Month Event~Children’s Champion Award

BCHHS joins the Mountain Child Advocacy Center in inviting the public to the Pinwheel Garden on April 10th at 10:30 a.m. at 200 College Street by the Energy Loop. At this event, the Children’s Champion Award will be given to a person who has gone above and beyond to keep children safe.

Spring Break Movie

“Mom, I’m bored!”  Join us for an afternoon movie about a young bull who loves to smell flowers based on the beloved children’s book by Munro Leaf.  All ages welcomed.  Popcorn will be served.  Call 648-2924 for movie title.

These are open to families of ANY of our schools – elementary, middle, and high. The Parent Updates are being held in the various districts and at different times for ease of access. You’re welcome to attend one or all!

PB&J Drive For Manna Food Bank!

Join us and the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha in helping make sure kids in our community are fed this summer!

On April 12 from 5-8pm bring jars of peanut butter and jelly to donate to Manna Food Bank. For every jar donated, you’ll receive a raffle ticket and be entered to win awesome Whistle Hop swag and a special grand prize!

We will have live Jazz by Gypsy Duo from 5-7 and Crazy Mama’s food truck will be serving all night.

Mom & Me – A Gerber Village Celebration

Please join us in celebrating the women who love us unconditionally. This FREE event is the day before Mothers Day. Stop by and have your kids decorate a beautiful flower pot & plant in it, participate in many activites, sample each of our many tenants food and much more! There will be face-painting, give-away’s, coupons, a prize wheel, corn-hole and a station to create bird-feeders!

Not MY Kid: New School Drug Ed for Parents of Adolescents Series

Find out current substance use trends among area middle and high schoolers, the newest research about adolescent brains, and how substances impact them. If you don’t know what molly, Triple C’s, lean, k-pins, roxies, robotripping, Juuls and dabbing are…you’d better come find out! For anyone parenting, educating or working with 5th-12th graders. Sponsored by the Jubilee Youth Program.

$5-$10 donation requested, but no one will be turned away.

Mermaids in the Mountains

The third in our Fantasy Series for 2018.
Come out for the day and be pampered! Calling ALL of you MERMAIDS! This event is all inclusive. For $150 have your customized mermaid makeup done with colors, sequins and glitter that reflect YOUR mermaid tail. Add a crown befitting a princess of the Seven Seas and pose for your shots. Each session includes 10 digital photos and access to multiple props. Grab your bestie or your babies and sign up for your spot today! We will be photographing in Fletcher Park.

Each session will receive 30 minutes of photography time & 30 minutes of makeup time. Session cost is for one person. No more than 4 people per session, please. Each will receive individuals, groups & closeups.
