SpringGo Parade in Chimney Rock Village

Okay, so, everyone is a little weird. And everyone we know loves the arrival of springtime. Here in Chimney Rock Village, we embrace our weirdness AND our love of spring in a way that only we can – WITH THE WORLD’S SHORTEST SHORTEST PARADE!

It’s all part of our annual SpringGo Celebration, CowPie Bingo Raffle, and of course, the annual Symphony at Sunset at 6:30 pm that evening.
Join us for this super fun family event. Fire trucks, llamas, candy, a cow mascot – where else can you find all that together in one place? Only Chimney Rock Village. 3pm this Saturday

Mother’s Little Helper

As Mother’s little helper, we have the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. Be sure to scoop up the kiddies and come out Saturday, May 12th to paint a flower pot and plant a flower while enjoying live music by Amelia Bon Bon and Friends. It’s FREE, it will be fun!

 

 

Monthly Line Dancing Party

Open to the public. Everyone is welcome! Dancers and Non-Dancers. This monthly Line Dancing Party is an opportunity for area Line Dancers to come together, socialize and celebrate our love of Line Dancing! There will be quick “walk-throughs” of all the Beginner and Improver dances. At least 95% of the dances are split-floor. Something for everyone! If you have questions or would like to preview a complete playlist of all the dances planned for the party, just send an email!

 

Nature Play Day (7-10yrs)

Are you joining us this Saturday for Nature Play Day? We are excited to bring you a park full of learning experiences from 10am-2pm that will fire up the imagination. Don’t forget, Friends of the Nature Center get in FREE!

Tryon’s Afro-Latino Fest 2018

Come and join the Tryon Community for our 2nd annual Afro-Fest, with a little more SIZZLE… Afro-Latino Fest! This festival celebrates and unifies the cultural cornerstones of African and Latino heritage through live music, food, artisans, vendors and more. Downtown Tryon will be transformed into a marketplace of African/Latino favorites paired with jamming music for a sizzling family fiesta. We will feature something for everyone, and attendees can journey through various represented countries and experience their people, music, art, food, and culture.

This integrated event will be held on, Saturday, May 12th from 2 pm to 8 pm on Trade Street. Admission is free to the public and the event is kid friendly! Tryon is a friendly and sophisticated small town. It’s a collaborative town where people work together on projects and support each other. Support from the community is integral to its success, and organizers are pleased with the support they’ve received thus far!

Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet

What better way to tell the mothers in your lives “Thank You!” than taking her out to Season’s for our annual Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet.

This Mothers Day, May 13, we will be serving a grand buffet with lavish desserts, a build your own potato bar, and much more. Complete the afternoon by listening to live music by Bruce Lang and sip on one of our many specialty cocktails or a premium bottle of wine.
