The first Friday of each month, 1-8pm we need your help to help us sort through our donated bikes. Some need to be repaired, and some need to be stripped for parts. Stop by anytime and lend us a hand. Bring your beverage of choice to share, and we will provide some sort of food to snack on while you help (food around 5pm) .

Author Event: Asheville Serafina/Willa Robert Beatty Author
Join #1 New York Times best-selling author Robert Beatty to celebrate the release of his new book, WILLA OF THE WOOD, the much-anticipated follow-up to his wildly popular SERAFINA SERIES. This special event includes a book signing, the opportunity to meet the author and other fans, free food & drink, and lots of Willa and Serafina giveaways.
Set in the Great Smoky Mountains in 1900, WILLA OF THE WOOD is filled with the history, mystery, and magic of the region. The story follows an orphaned 12-year-old girl who is one of the last members of an ancient race of forest people in tune with the trees and animals. Willa spends her days and nights foraging from the forest and scavenging from the log cabins of her greatest enemies, the axe-wielding “newcomers.” Through a series of action-packed encounters and an unexpected kindness, Willa begins to realize that both the newcomers and her own people are not what she’s always been told, setting in motion her quest for a new home and a new sense of belonging in a changing world.
