Tea time With a Princess

Tea time with our Beauty princess is scheduled for July 13th from 6-8pm at Engaged Asheville. We will only be offering 20 tickets for this intimate and up close and personal event. Included with your ticket is tea, snacks, balloon twisting, glitter tattoos, story time, sing-along, crafts, lots of memories and a professional photo.

1 adult is free with each kids ticket purchased.

MDA Charity Event

Help us Be Their Muscle! We are raising money to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association! Registration starts at 8am and a fun family friendly 45 minute workout at 9:00am followed by fun activities, vendors and treats until 1:00pm. Register ahead of time or the day of! Don’t miss this fun event for a great cause!

Hike of the Week: Craggy Gardens – Give me Shelter

Join Parkway rangers for a moderate, 1.5 mile round trip hike on the Craggy Gardens Trail. Come explore the wonders of high elevation ecosystems and see what a mountain bald looks like. We’ll also visit two historic trail shelters along the way and learn about their link to the Parkway’s past.

Meet at the Craggy Gardens Picnic Area at Milepost 367.6. Bring water, wear good walking shoes, and be prepared for changeable weather.

Ice Cream Social to benefit Buncombe Alternatives Inc.

Buncombe Alternatives Inc is the umbrella organization for 2 outstanding programs that work with diverted and at-risk juveniles in Buncombe County. Earn & Learn Restorative Community Service and Buncombe County Teen Court. Come be social, learn about Raise the Age ( RtA) happening in NC December 2019 and hear all about all the awesome things we have going on with Juvenile Justice and your community. The staff, bard and our Ballonsmith will be on hand to enjoy The Hop Ice cream with you. Come after work and bring the kiddos….. see you there!

Wonders of Water Splash Event: Wet and Muddy! (2 and older)

Celebrating the water cycle in a unique fashion with demonstrations and lots of “get wet and dirty” activities. Stations will include puddles, pools, and mud pies. Focus is on clean water, conservation, and fun learning. We suggest coming with a few towels and a change of clothing for your children! Check out the fish station, water coloring, and hypothermia tables as well. Just some good ole fashioned dirty fun to be had by all. For ages 2 and older
