Sundaes on a Sunday. The cacao masterminds at French Broad Chocolates are putting together a monumental build-your-own-sundae-bar for your ice cream eating pleasure. Show off your sundae-making skills in your very own East Fork Ice Cream Bowl in our (very limited!) summery blue-green pastel dream glaze – Malibu. Afterwards, we’ll get a behind the scenes peak at how French Broad’s chocolatey concoctions come to be as they give us a tour of their factory.
Your $40 ticket includes:
– An East Fork Small Potter’s Bowl aka the Ice Cream Bowl in our limited edition, yet-to-be-released Malibu glaze (a pastel teal)
– Exclusive tour of the French Broad Chocolate Factory in Asheville’s South Slope
– Access to a build-your-own ice cream sundae bar from French Broad to snack on while we learn the ins and outs of chocolate-making
Hendersonville Street Dances have taken place annually since 1918, when the city welcomed home its soldiers from the War by celebrating in the streets. This regular concert series showcases traditional, local bluegrass music, square dancing and Appalachian clogging demonstrations. Concert organized by the Arts Council of Henderson County.
The 2024 Street Dances are presented by Truist Bank and sponsored by the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority.

She has painted pots with begonias, jewelry, quilted kitchen towels, and other unique items. Janet Bennett will be here and she is the designer behind the beautiful purses you may see hanging around our shelves. She also makes eye glass holders, walker bags, and kids purses. Mindi Friedwald, local artist and author will be in attendance with her lovely items. We will be adding more craftsman to the lineup, so check our Facebook event for a full selection before the event.
