Kids Night Out (5-12yrs)

Would you like to go to dinner or see a movie? Maybe just have some time to yourself? Grant Southside Center staff are ready each month to connect with your children over goofy games, crafts, science projects, and snacks. More importantly, they’ll make new friends.

Advance registration required.

Kids’ Halloween Balance Bike Ride (2-7yrs)

For ages 2-7 with an adult.
Let’s celebrate with a fall bike ride and Halloween costume parade around the park. Come dressed in your Halloween costume for a spooktacular good time. Participants should bring their balance bike, tricycle etc. A limited number of bikes will be available upon advance request.

Kids Fairy Houses and Nature Art (5-10yrs)

A chance to get crafty and create wonderful pieces of art using natural materials. This is a hands on program that takes place entirely outside. Dress for the weather and wear closed toed shoes. Pre-registration required and par- ent participation required.

Deaf Awareness Day

Educational discovery stations throughout the grounds and live animal presentations throughout the day. Come enjoy the beautiful language of signing with the NC Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Interpreters will be provided!

Elk Expedition to Cataloochee Valley
