Come share the yoga that lights you up through an exciting family glow paint and blacklight event. We will have fun painting, playing, and moving through our yoga together for a creative family yoga night event from 6:15 -7:15 p.m. Cost is $8 per person and each family member must sign up individually. Paints and glow items will be provided. All ages are welcome. Beth is leading the wild rumpus! Limited to 30 folks so make sure to sign up your family to secure your spots.

Bring the kids to meet some of Henderson County‘s finest! The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office will have the SWAT bearcat and patrol cars on display and the Edneyville Fire Department will have a fire truck and a special appearance by Sparky the fire dog!

Dolly Parton Party
Get your finest Dolly impression ready for a Tuesday night stop at The Hop Ice Cream Cafe on Merrimon! We’re having a Dolly Parton Party with a costume contest, karaoke, and Dolly tunes all evening. Coats of many colors, big hair, sequins, and cowboy hats encouraged!
Proceeds benefit the local chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which mails free books to enrolled children every month between the time of their birth until age 5.
Winners of the costume contest – with categories for ages 0-5, 6-12, 13-17, and 18+ – will be announced at 7:00 PM. Prizes include gift cards for The Hop and Spellbound Children’s Bookshop and autographed children’s books from local authors.

Downtown Scarecrow Contest
Come downtown and vote for your favorite scarecrow! Participating merchants will compete for the “People’s Choice Award” for best scarecrow. Contest will begin on September 21st (with new scarecrows added daily) and will end on October 31st. The scarecrow with the most “votes” – your coins and dollars- wins so be sure to visit all the scarecrows and put money in their jars! Winner announced at 6:00 on the Central Park stage during downtown Trick or Treat.
