Christmas for Kids is a fun, clean, and safe event where kids can connect with their Savior and other kids their age. Parents can take this opportunity to get some shopping done or simply enjoy the morning in some peace and quiet. (Do you remember what that is like?!) Simply drop off your kids, Pre-K to 4th grade, at 10:00AM. You can grab a to-go cup of coffee (we’ll brew the good stuff) or tea. Or parents can stick around and enjoy the fun with everyone. Kids will play fun games, snacks, and hear the true meaning of Christmas, the Savior born to this world – he is Christ the Lord. To register online, simply go to lsavior.org/c4k. You can also download a paper copy of the registration and bring it the day of.

Shop Local, Buy Secondhand, Support Forest Schools!
Join us on #SmallBusinessSaturday for nature crafts and Q&A with representatives of The Forest School Foundation and the region’s first fully-outdoor year-round preschool, Growing Wild Forest School.
Through the month of November, one percent of all sales at Second Gear will be donated directly to advancing the Foundation’s mission of promoting nature-based education and the forest school movement across the southeast.
Each year on the the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Small Business Saturday serves as a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, encouraging holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local to the community.
The Forest School Foundation is proud to partner with Second Gear and other local retailers who support environmental sustainability, conservation and outdoor recreation for all ages.
