Asheville ~ Come shop local! Sample tasty natural foods, elixirs and shop for local gifts. Maybe you’d rather have a drink at the Mothlight while your friends or family find natural gifts for you. This special holiday pop-up of natural gifts offered by regional makers benefits NC Natural Product Association. Vendors will have natural gifts, body care, jewelry, pottery, home products and more. Every time you purchase from a vendor, you get a raffle ticket and a chance to win a gift up until 4pm! The event is FREE and open to everyone.
Celebrate the holiday season with the Asheville Community Band! This family-friendly concert features our symphonic winds playing your holiday favorites, plus this year we are featuring a collaboration with The handbell choir from First Methodist, Hendersonville and a fun visit from. . . . SANTA ELVIS! See you there!

Evangelia Sosa is a Registered Dietitian and graduate of Johnson and Wales University with degrees in Culinary Arts and Culinary Nutrition. This wealth of knowledge and experience goes into each and every meal she makes. As a mother of two young children she understands just how time consuming, all-encompassing, and at times overwhelming, making a meal can be. Let her help you and your family enjoy a healthy “home-cooked meal” without the hassle of planning what to make, grocery shopping, and saving you hours in the kitchen. The meals are portioned (for four people) and packaged family style and are available for pickup on Mondays or Wednesdays at her location at Haw Creek Commons (315 Old Haw Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28805) between 5:00pm and 5:30pm. Feeling festive this December? Come to our first annual Holiday Sweater Service Day! We will be removing invasive plants and vines from the French Broad River Greenway and an adjacent stormwater wetland. Parking is located at 157 Craven Street which is a gravel lot at the intersection of Hazel Mill Road and Craven Street. Arrive in your tackiest holiday sweater! Grub will be provided.
