Sleep Tight Kids provides newly purchased items like blankets, stuffed animals, dental kits, books, flashlights to children displaced in our local community of WNC.

Stroller Barre® is a 60-minute cardio and strength interval class designed to improve posture, stability, and mobility. The workout combines moves inspired by barre, ballet, Pilates, fitness, and yoga to help you regain your posture and alignment and strengthen your body from the inside out! Stroller Barre will help you reconnect with your body, increase flexibility and develop the core strength needed for motherhood. This class will be indoors until late spring.

Stroller Strides® is a functional, total-body conditioning workout designed for moms with (or without) kids in tow. Each 60-minute workout is comprised of strength training, cardio and core restoration, all while entertaining little ones activities and fun! Each Stroller Strides instructor is skilled to meet you where you are mentally and physically. You’ll leave class feeling connected, successful and energized! This class is all about self care in a supportive and encouraging environment (& inside where it is warm until late spring).

We invite everyone who’s interested in social justice to come together and create some powerful posters and banners for this year’s Women’s March on Asheville 2019! Even if you won’t be able to attend the march, come by! Share your thoughts, ideas and inspiring art with others in safe collaborative atmosphere. We will provide paint, some brushes, repurposed canvas and other art supplies for your projects. Bring some extra poster paper and paint, if you can, in case we have more attendees than expected. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks of your choice!

It’s time for our next clothing swap, kid edition! Newborn through middle school sizes welcome. Sift through your children’s closets and bring all their outgrown outfits along and upgrade to sizes that fit! As always, everything leftover will be sorted and donated and unusable pieces will be recycled!
Are you also overwhelmed with outgrown toys? Bring those along, too! Swap for more age appropriate toys and everything leftover will be donated to families and foster homes in need 🙂

Come learn about a planned Swannanoa Greenway at Winter Warmer Celebration of Asheville Greenway programs, Jan. 16 at Highland Brewing!
This will be the first greenway in east Asheville. Members of the Asheville Greenway Committee will be there there to share information with residents about other greenway projects also planned for the near future.
