The City of Hendersonville’s Skate Park is located in Patton Park across from Patton Pool. The skate park is open to the public and is an unattended facility, the hours are 7am-11pm.

Receive a guided experience to create your own glass keepsakes in our “flameshop” or flameworking studio. In this hands-on class, you will work one-on-one with an experienced instructor to create a unique piece of glass art. Choose between crafting a marble, pendant, or glass icicle, then customize your piece with your choice of two colors. Your instructor will walk you through all the basic skills you will need to create a keepsake of your very own. Manipulating rods of glass, you will learn to apply the colors of your choice, and revel in the exhilaration of melting glass! All levels welcome.
Students must be 11 years of age or older and accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian if under 16 years of age.
There is a non-refundable $25 deposit when booking classes. We allow cancellations up to 48 hours before the start time of your class. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of your class, you will not receive a refund.
Due to the nature of the schedule we allow a 5 minute grace period. Any tardiness beyond 5 minutes may result in a forfeited class and payment.
Create your own fused glass work of art! Sundays, classes starting at 11am, with the last class of the day starting at 3:00pm. You choose your 50 minute time.
Spend a fun-filled hour in our studio with an experienced instructor to guide you through the steps of making your own fused glass tile. You’ll craft one tile during the 50-minute experience. Have a blast choosing colors, cutting shapes and designing your art. This is a great activity for families, couples and small groups of up to 4 people. We encourage students to bring sketches to class so that there is plenty of time for selecting colors and cutting shapes. The surface area of a tile is approximately 5″x7″.
Children ages 8-12 must have an adult present.
No experience needed.
Tiles will be ready for pickup by Wednesday morning after class. Shipping is available for an additional fee.

Children ages three to eight are invited to move through a series of yoga postures, imaginative sequences, engaging breath-work, visualizations, and explore a variety of art mediums for making artwork that they can take home with them. We will explore yoga through movement, restorative play, mindfulness, visualizations, and self-expression. This exploration helps children increase mind and body awareness, strength, flexibility, focus, and creativity.
Monday & Tuesday, April 29 & 30, 2024 at 10 a.m. & 12 p.m.
Recommended for grades 1-5. Performance duration: 60 min. Student Series shows are open to any public, private, home, charter or magnet school students and their teachers in all grades. When possible, tickets are also available to the public. Children under the age of two may not attend a Student Series performance.
Cat Kid Comic Club: The Musical is written by Kevin Del Aguila and Brad Alexander – the team that brought you DOG MAN: THE MUSICAL! Comics go comically off the rails in this musical adaptation of Dav Pilkey’s hilarious book series. Cat Kid and Molly Pollywog have started an epic club to teach 21 rambunctious baby frogs how to make their own comics! Their fishy father Flippy is overjoyed that his kids will learn to unleash their creativity, but when the frogs’ constant bickering and outrageous imaginations send their comics comically off the rails, Flippy flips out! Will the club survive? Will the frogs ever get along? And will creativity finally save the day? All will be answered in this madcap musical based on Dav Pilkey’s irreverently hilarious book series.

Feel the irresistible energy and heart-pounding rhythms of dance with the first professional dance company dedicated to the art of stepping. These multi-talented artists showcase a unique and vibrant form of dance that combines percussive footwork, call-and-response chants and high-energy performance — blending African American dance styles, traditional African dances and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into one cohesive, compelling artistic experience.

Family run all ability farm experiences, tours, and workshops. Play with our herd of miniature goats, pet some cows, hop around with the bunnies and make a chicken friend.
