Easter Dance Party

The Waynesville Parks and Recreation Department will be sponsoring its Easter Dance Party on Saturday, April 13, from 7 – 8:45 pm. Come and practice your steps and enjoy the music and singing of Paul Indelicato, who will be playing both ballroom and line music.

The charge is $10 per person and is open to all dancers. If you are able to join us, please bring a dish of your choice—finger food. For more information please call Tim Plowman at 456-2030 or email tplowman@waynesvillenc.gov

Easter Down By the Brook

Parents with toddlers and preschoolers!!! Bring your little ones to our Easter Down By The Brook next week! We will gather at the Weaverville Campus for an Easter Egg Hunt and decorating eggs! Bring an Easter basket to collect eggs! Every child that comes will get an Easter prize bag!

Easter Egg Hunt w/Bouncy Slide

On April 20 from 11:00-1:00, Etowah UMC will host a free community Easter Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt will begin at 11:30 AM. Come as early as 11:00 and stay later for some fun activities including a Bouncy House Slide and eat pizza with us for lunch.

This family event will be in the open field behind Etowah UMC. The 11:30 Hunt will be divided and sectioned off into the following age/grade groups:
PreK
K-1
2-5

Pop Up Pizza Party

We are hosting a Pop Up Pizza Night this Saturday April 6th from 5pm-8pm! This event is for ages 3-12 years! It is $10 per child and all the proceeds will go to Sleep Tight Kids! This is a cash only event, and space is limited so you MUST RSVP to be added to the list! Please call or text us at 828-408-0455 in order to reserve your spot!

LEGO Duplo Egg Hunt (19mos-5yrs)

Our next LEGO event is coming up on Friday, April 12th from 2:15pm-3:15pm for 19months-5 years old! We will do 30 minutes of LEGO Building, 30 minutes of time in the gym and then we will do an Egg Hunt! Space is limited so call/text us today to sign up!

Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt

Please join us for a community wide Easter Egg Hunt, on Saturday April 20th 10am-12pm. We will have separate areas for children under 4, and 5-11. We’ll also enjoy hot dogs, and have a special giveaway you won’t want to miss!
