Library Fine Amnesty Day
July 26th All Day – Do you have a pile of overdue library books piling up, that you’re afraid to return because you’ll have to pay big fines? No worries! If they’re still in good shape, bring them in on Friday to ANY one of the Buncombe County Government library branches, and they’ll check them in and forgive the fines! Or have you been avoiding the library because of past late fees? They’ll forgive those too! Late fee fines will be deleted, no matter how high they are.
❗️👉 You must be present at the library for the fines to be removed. No phone calls or emails.
