Pollinator Day

If you missed our last Pollinator Day at B.B. Barns, mark your calendar for this Saturday! We’ll have kids storytime at 2 pm and kids activities throughout the day, food trucks, a local beekeeper on-site with their hive and an educational talk at 10 am, and more! This event is free and perfect for the whole family, stay tuned for more details!

Kids Day

Join us at our West Asheville Early Girl location for a fun-filled kids day! We’ll have delicious food, bubbles, Early Girl coloring sheets, and more!
On June 26th, enjoy a free kids meal with the purchase of an entree. (Kids 12 and under)

Summer Party 2024

Join us for a family-friendly, community event. Nothing says SUMMER like an outdoor party with inflatables, snow cones, face painting, yard games and food trucks!

Kick in the Park FREE Martial Arts Class

“Aloha Mamas! My family and I just moved here from Hawaii and my husband is starting a new martial arts school. We are providing FREE martial arts classes all of June! We want to bring awareness of Bully Prevention and Stranger Danger along with building positive character development to the kids of the community.”

Summer starts with our awesome discount – everyone aged 18 and under play for free, no passes needed! Bring your family for endless board game fun, it’s the ideal kick-off to the summer holidays!

ArborEvening

Thursdays and most Fridays June 27 through September 26, 2024 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Sip and stroll through the Arboretum’s gardens in the glow of the golden hour, all while listening to live music from a variety of local and regional artists! 

There is no additional cost to attend ArborEvenings beyond our standard parking fee. As always, Arboretum Society members and their accompanying guests can enter for FREE (guests must be in member vehicles to receive free entry). Proceeds from ArborEvenings help support the The North Carolina Arboretum Society and further advance the Arboretum’s mission.

Dress Up Like a Fairy Contest (open to all ages)

Show off your best fairy costume at Bullington Gardens 1st annual Dress Up Like a Fairy Contest! Show up in your magical fairy outfit, get your picture taken and have our social media followers choose the winner. Winner of the Dress Up Like a Fairy Contest will win their very own Fairy Tea Party complete with wand making activities, a guided walk through the fairy trail and tea and cookies for your party of 8.

All entrants must sign a media release form and agree to have their picture posted on Facebook and Instagram. Suggested donation per entrant is $20.00.

No registration is necessary, just show up looking magical!
