Rock & Roll Truth Music Fest is happening again! Our receiving charity will once again be Blue Ridge Humane Society so if you are an animal lover, this festival is definitely for you! This event is family friendly and absolutely FREE admission! Monetary proceeds AND $1 from every pint of Bold Rock’s Carolina Apple and their current seasonal cider sold at the festival will go to benefit the Blue Ridge Humane Society! BRHS representatives will accept donations and have pet adoption information on site. Also Bold Rock’s “Bold Bites” food truck on site as always! Plus, an all day line up of some of the hardest working bands in WNC, including a set from area favorite EUPHORIA! Band performances will be on the outdoor stage at Bold Rock Hard Cider Mills River. Alternate performance area will be announced in case of inclement weather. Stay tuned to this event page for regular updates regarding the festival as far as line up, sponsors, etc. as the date gets closer!

Kids Fishing Tournament
Get ready to reel in some fun at our upcoming Spring Kids Fishing Tournament! This event is for youth ages 15 and under. Young anglers will be divided into three age brackets for the competition: 0-5, 6-10, and 11-15. Participants can win prizes for the biggest fish, the smallest fish, and the most fish caught. Each fish caught must be brought to the designated measuring station one at a time. After measurement, the fish will be released back into the lake.
For a registration fee of $10, each young angler will receive a bucket, bait, and an assortment of snacks and refreshing beverages will be available throughout the morning. Pre-registration is recommended but walk-up registration will be available on the day of the tournament. Registration will open at 7:00 a.m. Fishing begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. and will end at 11:00 a.m. Prizes will be handed out at 11:30 a.m. Winners must be present to accept the prize.

Sunday Fun Day (all rider levels)
Ride Kolo Bike Park on Sundays for $10 from 10am-5pm through the month of March!

With 4 miles of purpose-built mountain bike and cyclo-cross trails; wooden features with a jump line on rolling terrain; and a beginner and advanced pump track, Kolo is a mountain bike sampler-pack. The park is designed for all rider levels. Some of the features you’ll find are:

• Hand-built single track in wooded space with a 180-degree wood berm
• Machine-built flow trail with dirt berms and rollers
• 2 pump tracks for beginner and advanced
• Skills area with wooden balance features and bridges
• Wooden step-down and gap jumps
• Dirt jump area with jumps ranging from easy to difficult

All the trails and features are designed to be progressive. So there are multiple ways to ride them. This encourages developing riders to advance their skills in a controlled environment.

Tot Time Thursdays (5yrs & Under)
Tot time is for riders 5 and under to get a chance to ride the pump track and skills area free from the pressures of bigger older kids buzzing around them. The session is Thursday mornings from 10 am to Noon, April 16- September 3. Admission is only $5 when you bring your own bike. We do have Burley Bicycles kick bikes to rent for $15 (includes park admission.) Check in is at the Adventure Center of Asheville/ Kolo Bike Park office.
