A family-friendly event and festival to raise awareness around the issue of sexual violence in our community, and to rally in support of safe spaces everywhere: whether hiking, climbing, biking or floating down the river.
French Broad Outfitters will be providing 50% off float trips down the Biltmore section of the French Broad, while hosting the afternoon festival featuring live music by The Soul Magnetics, delicious food from Deli Llammma food truck, a raffle, hammocks for relaxing, river views, and locally-crafted brews.
We will highlight Our VOICE’s outdoor adventure and prevention programming for middle school studentsi n Buncombe County, including Climbing Toward Confidence (an after-school rock climbing program for girls) and Backpacking Brothers (a five-day wilderness and camping adventure for boys), promoting respect, healthy boundaries, personal confidence and leadership.
