Nature Play Event
Summer is officially here and with it comes new Nature Play events!
On July 8th, we will be going on a mystery safari at Holmes Educational State Forest! We’ll use real photographs and evidence on the 1/4 mile trail to follow signs of animals in the forest and solve a habitat mystery. This event will be from 10 am – 12 pm. Check out this link for more information, but please register with me! I am going to register us as a group. http://www.ncesf.org/holmesNews.html
On July 23, we’ll be meeting at the WNC Nature Center to go on a nature scavenger hunt. We’ll explore insects, flowers, leaves, rocks, and all kinds of other natural materials! Admission to the Nature Center is included in this event. This adventure will be from 10 am – 12 pm.
Both of these July events are free, but registration is required. For more information or to register, please contact Tori Duval at ashevilleoutdoorfamilies@gmail.com or at (828)458-2603. You can also always comment on this post and let me know you want to go!
We’ll see you outside!
