April 15 & April 29 … Raising Trouts

Learn about the Bobby N. Setzer trout hatchery operations, participate in an out- door activity that simulates trout life, and hand feed the fish! Ages 4–7.

May 6 & May 13 … Stream Investigation

Explore the Davidson River in search of aquatic macro invertebrates. We will deter- mine the water quality of the river and learn how these macros play such an important role in the ecosystem. Ages 4–7.

June 3 & June 17 … Frogs & Toads 

What’s the difference between a frog and a toad? What do they like to eat? How are they important to our ecosystems? Learn the answers to these and many more ques- tions as we explore the fascinating world of frogs and toads. Ages 4–7.
