Mother-Daughter New Moon Circle
I invite Mothers and their Daughters (ages 9-18) to join in sacred space to strengthen bonds to ourselves, our daughters, and each other in Sisterhood! In conjunction with the Global SIsterhood https://www.globalsisterhood.org/home/, we will join women in over 80 countries to empower each other and create a culture of belonging, acceptance, and love.
After joining our hearts in song, meditation, and the energies of the earth, moon, and stars, daughters will spiral into their own space for sharing in confidence. Then we will rejoin one another with a new level of compassion and the freedom that comes from standing in our truth without judgement.
This month we will explore the Global Sisterhood’s theme of Abundant Self Care. As mothers we are constantly taking care of others but how well are we taking care of ourselves, both physically and emotionally? How can we teach our daughters to honor and respect their changing bodies and wide ranging emotions as they navigate puberty?
Our circle will be held outdoors around a fire alongside a beautiful creek at the edge of a forest just east of Asheville.
Energy exchange: $35 per family
(Please note, if your daughter is unable to join, please consider attending and we will invite her Higher Self to join!)
A little about my vision and inspiration:
A little over a year ago, I read the book “Rise Sister Rise” by Rebecca Campbell. She wrote, “For ages, women have been gathering in circles to heal their wounds, share their stories, pass down the mysteries of womanhood, support and empower one another…sharing stories, holding space, and passing down of wisdom, there is nothing more healing than being in a group of honest sisters that truly accept you.” I searched and found this to be true to an absolutely magical degree! My daughter always wanted to come along. As I explored my soul’s calling and worked through my own mother wounds, I wanted to create a space where mothers and daughters could lift each other up and also to encourage our daughters to create a new culture of support and understanding between girls.
